Sizzle Mama
Remember this?
Despite a bounty of mama wisdom from the blogosphere, I threw caution to the wind and tried once again to take getting ready to a place just north of a baseball cap, some deodorant and mascara. I wish I were posting something more like this, but I am not. Singe, I mean, sigh*.
*Trust me when I say the wound is much angrier and fierce looking in person. What can I say, I'm a writer not a photographer.

OOOOOOOWWWWW!
Poor you!
I've given up on curling irons - I am TOO tired to use them safely.

I've done that more often than I care to admit, too.

Ow! At least twice a week I moan about how impossible it is to get out of the house looking decent with a baby and a toddler. I keep hoping my days of baseball hats won't last forever either. I think the fact that you even attempted the curling iron is admirable!

See? This is exactlywhy I almost never do my hair any more. It's too dangerous; too defeating.
Your picture also reinforces why I have bangs. Hope it heals quickly!

What is my curling iron doing in your bathroom?

I barely use a hair dryer anymore, much less a hot tool for when my hair is dried.
And, ouch! It looked pretty bad, from where I'm sitting.

awww I did not snicker because I have so been there. I do not use curling irons like ever now!

Curling irons are evil!!! Poor thing :(

I've still got a nice burn scar on my arm where it came in contact with my straightening iron. Yow! I feel for ya.
