The Wink is a labor of love, occasional source of ire and constantly influenced by the toddlywinks in my life- my daughters. There's also the HunkyWink. You'll read all about them as The Wink unfolds. Please feel free to wink back!

A Moment as Sanctuary

Familiar, wispy ringlets floating in an ocean breeze,
Feathered locks of auburn framing the face of a newfound friend,
Tendrils dark and heavy with seawater cling to a slender neck,
Tiny fingers intertwine, friends in a moment, memories of a lifetime
Shimmering grains of sands, cascading over pink toes,
Treasures of shells and sparkling eyes,
Giggles and exclaims floating out to sea,

The wholeness of joy delivered.

Hey Amanda! I'm not surprised that you write beautiful poetry. I try my hand at it, but don't have the balls to put it on my site.

Speaking of sites, I am having a helluva time with yours! It takes more than a full minute to open and often won't. Then I have to force quit. I often can't get to the comment page. Anybody else having this problem? Is it my computer maybe?

Damnit! I hadn't heard that. I thought I'd offended you somehow...snort
Does it happen with Tumble Dry as well?

I am having the same problem with Beck's site. Does anyone know how to fix this???

I have the same type of problem when I open your sites (and some others...even my own!) through AOL. I don't have the problem at all when I go through FireFox or Explorer.

Oh, my heart is a-flutter.

They are so sweet and beautiful and utterly just make my insides melt perfect.

Which is not unlike the effect that you have on me, as well.

Beautiful content, as always ...

I have a bit of trouble opening both sites - they take a bit of time to come up and load entirely, I have more trouble with Tumble Dry than The Wink. Here at work I am on our network so they are a bit faster, at home I usually use Firefox.

They always come up, but they tend to freeze up a little and are a little herky jerky sometimes. Figured it was worth it since I enjoy your sites so much! :)
