The Wink is a labor of love, occasional source of ire and constantly influenced by the toddlywinks in my life- my daughters. There's also the HunkyWink. You'll read all about them as The Wink unfolds. Please feel free to wink back!

What a wonderful thought - the imagination of a child that allows them to revel in eating something that falls from the sky in beautiful fluffy flakes!

Ha! That's great! I used to have "maple syrup snow" as a kid, such good memories. They're true 'Dacker girls:)

Thanks for your comments, I'd love a little check in now and then to see how we're doing with these resolutions. I've yet to donate/throw away anything, our office/den is the worst I gotta tackle it. But I did sign up for strength training classes again, which is awesome. I miss sweating! Hope all is well.

Oh god I used to hate it when my kids would eat snow. I used to sit and think about all the crap in it (and I mean that literally) and it would make me sick. I couldn't stop them, but it still made me sick.

My mother never served me snow! I had to eat it from my mittened hands.

I probably shouldn't add that I also ate school paste.

I'm with Magpie, throw a little maple syrup on that snow and you've got a good old fashioned snow cone.
My Better Half has been known to wander outside in his slippers while on a conference call to make a snowball and eat it.
