Last night I made myself a cup of tea I love this particular tea because it has little sayings on the end of the string. Now, posted on my fridge with a little stone magnet is this:
The worlds sees us as we see ourselves.
We must eat right, walk right and talk to ourselves right.
That last one hit me hard. Even when I am doing everything right, I’m not sure I adhere to talking to myself right.
I’m going to use kinder words and softer tones. We all deserve that, don’t we?

Yogi tea is my favorite too! The flavors are great, the sayings are even better. Like fortune cookies but a bit more refined.
Kinder words and softer tones. I like that. (I also like Yogi tea.) This reminds me a little of my quest lately for emotional suppleness. I think kind and soft tones are tied in somehow and that you’ve added an element to my figuring it all out.
Beautiful idea.
the last one is so hard, isn’t it? As if we would ever talk to those we love like we talk to ourselves…
Yes, I need to do this more than ever right now. Thank you for reminding me!
As long as I don’t say to myself the things I say to other people when I’m driving, I think I’m doing well. 🙂
Wow I really needed to hear that. I love your blog by the way!
Pretty wise, for a tea bag.
