Every once in a while I realize that without our girls, I might never reset.
Remember hide and seek?
Remember believing that each new day held the promise of something worth squealing for?
Remember when you didn’t hide yourself?
Remember when you lived without hesitation?
Do you remember why you stopped?

Go live like this!

“Do you remember why you stopped?”
No. Sadly I don’t remember when, either. Thanks for giving me something to mull over. 😉
This is a spectacular shot!!
Simple and oh so true. I’d give almost anything to have that innocence back, that lack of self-consciousness and calculating. It’s magic to see it in kids, even in little snippets.
Sigh. I do. I do remember.
It kind of makes me feel sad and funny and glad all at once.
I absolutely adore the creativity of kids, and the way they are so unselfconscious. In a way, one of the best parts of blogging, is that it has brought a bit of a childish sense of fun back to my life. I think it is cool that even prominent professors and lawyer are not above cracking a joke on Twitter, like kids in a playground.
